Position Summary

The Greenskeepers make up the bulk of the golf course maintenance staff. They are at various level of development in competency of maintenance tasks. They have the ability and the desire to learn current tasks. They have the ability to work within a flexible, energetic assignment schedule. They are open to adopting the "culture" of the maintenance department and to adhering to the training protocols set out by the Superintendent.

Responsibilities
Develop proficiency in areas of golf course maintenance, including cutting, bunker maintenance and general tasks such as divot filling and line trimming.
Develop proficiency in operation of golf course maintenance equipment, including cutting units, carts, utility vehicles and hand tools.
Carry out all maintenance and cultural practices as assigned.
Maintain the cleanliness of all maintenance equipment.




Adhere to the codes of conduct and adopt the "culture" of the department in behavior and appearance.

Skills & Requirements
Valid driver's license.
Experience in golf course maintenance or similar field an asset.
Good social skills.
Capable of extended periods of physical labour
Familiarity with the rules and etiquette of the game of golf.
Available to work early mornings and weekend shifts as scheduled.

Job Type: Full-time seasonal
