TRU by Hilton Toronto Airport West is a hotel in Mississauga, ON L5T 0B8.

We are looking for fun, customer-centric, and team-oriented people to join our team.
Performs general maintenance to guestrooms promptly.
Responsible for maintaining the general condition of the hotel, guestrooms, and grounds with regards to basic repairs in Carpentry, Plumbing, Pool maintenance, Mechanical, minor Electrical, HVAC, and Painting.
Participates in the company preventative maintenance program for guestrooms, equipment, public space, grounds, and landscaping.
Perform general carpentry and repairs to furniture and structures such as cabinets, tables, windows, doors, and chairs.
Works on special projects assigned by Maintenance Manager/General Manager.
Maintains the cleanliness and organization of the work areas.
Responds quickly to guest requests in a friendly manner. Follow-up is necessary too.
Must be attentive, helpful,



and courteous to all guests, managers, and all other team members.
Ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
Comply with attendance rules and be available to work regularly which requires weekends.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager / General Manager

Not certificates are necessary but will be a plus to have any certificate ie. electrical, plumbing, HVAC, WHMIS, First Aids.

Job Type: Full time

Pay: From $21.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:
Mississauga, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:
Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:
Maintenance: 1 year (preferred)
