As a vital part of the People & Culture team, the Lead, Labour and Employee Relations upholds the university's commitment to diversity and equity. Key Responsibilities:
Manage routine labour relations inquiries and collective agreements
Support relationship building with administrative and unionized groups
Conduct research and compile data for reporting
Participate in arbitrations and collective bargaining
Deliver training on applicable collective agreements
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
Minimum five years' experience in labour relations
Knowledge of employment laws and practices
Robust communication and interpersonal skills
Experience with Indigenous communities is an asset
