DUTIES The Department of Literatures, Languages, and Performing Arts at Thompson Rivers University requires a sessional instructor to teach one section of Acting Appreciation (THTR 1110) in Winter 2027.
Instruction in THTR 1110 includes an examination of some basic aspects of acting including: stage movement, improvisation, and character development.
This course is designed to develop the actors inner resources so they can begin to appreciate that acting, like other traditional art forms, demands a methodical approach for the development of a techniques that can then be applied in the presentation of a finished product. QUALIFICATIONS (Theatre/ Performance) Required.
