Reporting directly to the Director of Finance, this is a newly created role responsible for leading the day-to-day accounting function across two related entities while managing a small team of accounting staff.

This is a hands-on position while there is a small team to support you, the ideal candidate is someone who is comfortable rolling up their sleeves, and who has the ability to pivot and reprioritize tasks as current demands arise each day.

Key Responsibilities Owning the full month-end and year-end close process Preparing balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries Managing job costing, project billing, and related party reconciliations Overseeing AP and AR functions and 3-way matching controls Ensuring all CRA regulatory filings are completed accurately and on time Partnering with construction and development teams on financial reporting Leading, mentoring, and developing a small accounting team
