Become a part-time TEFL Methodology Instructor at the Official Languages and Bilingualism Institute (OLBI). This role focuses on preparing undergraduate students for online English teaching, blending cutting-edge teaching methods with practical experience.
In the Fall 2026 academic semester, OLBI is seeking a dedicated instructor to lead the TEFL Methodology stream of the Student Teaching in English Program (STEP). Key responsibilities include creating student-centered sessions, integrating digital tools, and supporting micro-teaching while ensuring curriculum coherence. Applicants should possess a Master's degree in second language teaching and extensive ESL teaching experience.
Key Responsibilities: • Design and lead engaging TEFL methodology sessions • Create, evaluate,
and support student assignments • Facilitate peer debriefing and micro-teaching exercises • Collaborate with teaching staff for curriculum coherence • Implement practical lesson-planning portfolio development
Requirements: • Master’s degree in TESL or related field • Two years teaching ESL at the college/university level • Experience in team-teaching dynamic environments • TESL Certification or equivalent • Familiarity with digital learning tools
