SAP HCM Business Analyst –

Contract Duration: Through December 2027

Location: Remote – GTA/Ottawa preferred, but not mandatory

Security Clearance: Enhanced Reliability clearance is mandatory

Role Overview

We are looking for a solid SAP Business Analyst with SAP HCM experience to support a long-term Canada Post transformation initiative. The ideal candidate combines strong business analysis capabilities with hands-on knowledge of SAP HCM/HR processes, SAP cloud technologies, integrations and S/4HANA environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Gather, document and validate functional and non-functional requirements for SAP HCM initiatives.
- Analyze current HR/HCM business processes and identify opportunities for automation and optimization.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, process flows and solution designs.
- Work closely with SAP functional consultants, architects, developers and integration teams.
- Support SAP HCM integrations and cloud-based solutions, including SAP HCP/BTP where applicable.
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops, requirements sessions, UAT and solution demonstrations.




- Support data migration, testing, change management and deployment activities.
- Track project risks, dependencies, issues and deliverables.
- Ensure solutions align with business requirements and broader SAP transformation objectives.

Required Experience

- 5+ years of Business Analyst experience on SAP projects.
- Strong SAP HCM experience is now required.
- Experience with SAP HR/HCM processes and employee-related data/processes.
- Strong requirements gathering, process analysis and functional documentation experience.
- Experience working with SAP integrations.
- SAP S/4HANA experience.
- Exposure to SAP HCP/BTP / SAP cloud technologies is highly desirable.
- Experience with SAP Integration Suite is an asset.
- Agile and/or Waterfall delivery experience.
- Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.
- Process modelling experience using Visio, Signavio or similar.
- Must currently hold Enhanced Reliability security clearance or higher.
