Overview

Position: Avionics Technician in the A220 commercial aircraft program. Location: Mirabel, Quebec, Canada.

Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Install and repair electrical and avionics components.
Perform functional tests and calibration on aircraft systems.
Diagnose and inspect avionics systems such as communication and navigation systems, radar, detection circuits, calculators, cameras, recording, automatic controls, dashboards, and all electrical equipment.
Repair avionics systems as needed.
Make changes according to service bulletins while respecting industry standards.
Other related functions that may vary depending on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications
A D.C.S. or A.C.S. Technical Avionics OR.
An E License.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in the avionics field within the last 5 years.
Demonstrate autonomy, initiative, and work well in a multidisciplinary team.
Require work in a confined space on a regular basis.




Require work at heights of up to 30 feet on a regular basis.
Ability to adopt and maintain different physical positions as required by the job.
Awareness of potential compliance risks and commitment to act with integrity.
