As an Intake Clinician, you will provide essential intake services to children and youth experiencing mental health and substance use disorders. With a robust emphasis on culturally secure care, you will assess referrals, develop individualized resource plans, and facilitate timely access to necessary services. Your expertise in trauma-informed practice will help clients overcome barriers and achieve their wellness goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Screen referrals from community partners and families
• Evaluate risks and determine referral needs
• Maintain accurate data on client requests




• Provide direct clinical services and crisis intervention
• Facilitate access to therapeutic and recovery resources
Requirements:
• Master’s Degree in social or health sciences
• Eligible for skilled registration
• Two years’ experience with mental health or substance use
• Valid B.C. Driver’s License
• Knowledge of harm reduction and addiction counselling
