Responsibilities

- Supports labour relations activities for a unionized manufacturing environment
- Maintain positive relations and good communications with leaders of all union
- Provide interpretation and application of collective agreements
- Administer labour relations including dispute resolution, grievance resolution and arbitration process.
- Lead and oversee HR operations, ensuring alignment with company policies and legislative requirements
- Manage the full onboarding and off boarding cycle, ensuring a smooth and positive employee experience
- Provide expert guidance on employee relations matters, resolving issues promptly and professionally
- Support and guide leadership in performance management processes
- Develop, enhance, and deliver internal training programs aligned with organizational goals
- Prepare HR reports for government compliance and internal management needs





Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Certified Human Resources Qualified certification (CHRP).Experience
- 5-7 years Human Resources experience in a manufacturing environment desired.
- 5-7 years leadership experience leading teams
- Experience working in a unionized setting required. Union and Labor Relations experience required, no exceptions!
- Demonstrated experience leading labour relations, grievance handling,
- Experience providing HR leadership and coaching to managers and HR team members.
- Proficiency with HRIS
- Strong analytical skills for workforce planning, budgeting, and reporting.
- Ability to work and achieve results in a fast-paced, results driven environment
- Experience in workplace safety programs
