More importantly, though, we are backed by a strong team of dedicated, diverse employees in all segments of our temporary and permanent business divisions including Sales, Graphic/Structural/Industrial Design, Production, Manufacturing, Logistics, Accounting, and People & Talent.THE OPPORTUNITYThe Project Manager, Permanent Displays oversees all aspects of projects from inception to final delivery. They will set out the plan, monitor and control the entire process. The PM performs a variety of tasks including but not limited to setting deliverables and dates, estimating, preparing quotes, coordinating with suppliers and internal production, communicating the progress of the project, entering orders, follow up on orders, purchasing materials, coordinating logistics, maintaining project margins and invoicing.The Project Manager handles multiple projects within a quick‑paced environment and is flexible to adapt to constant challenges and change. The PM is a person who is highly organized, takes ownership and can communicate well with internal and external customers. They will develop and maintain positive working relationships with all contacts inside and outside of Harding Display.This role is primarily on‑site, with some flexibility at our Scarborough location.HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACTUnderstands the scope and requirements of the projectCreates and manages critical paths and workback schedulesConstantly monitors and reports on the progress of a project to all stakeholdersEnsures client deliverables and expectations are met and exceeded in terms of quality of product and service deliveredOrganizes and attends meetings with project stakeholdersTakes and publishes meeting project notesCommunicates customer expectations with design,



creative and manufacturingPreparing client quotes from internal estimatesClosely monitoring project margins and related risk areasCreates part numbers/ Bill of materials and pack slipsCreates work orders, provide all quotes and Purchase ordersProcesses all prototype and productionordersCoordinates the purchasing of any outsourced components from vendorsWorks with the internal production team to ensure on time deliveryCoordinates logistics of final product to destination with logistics teamEnsures Quality Procedures are followed and documentedReviews proofs sent in from clients and printersAssists on in‑store executions like the installation of prototypes in store environmentsAdditional duties as required.YOU’LL SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVEUniversity or College Diploma or 3‑5 years of experience in related fieldFamiliar with project management softwareAble to read and review design drawings and planograms to ensure project requirements are metHas a strong understanding of Permanent Point of Purchase Displays and Retail marketsCorrugated knowledge is an asset to assist on jobs where we use mixed materialsStrong negotiation skills with proven track record in managing purchasing and vendor relationshipsExcellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationshipsStrong organizational and time management skillsDon’t tick every box?
