Reporting to: Senior Manager, Labour & Employee Relations.ResponsibilitiesImplement, administer & coordinate the Board's Attendance Support Policy.Monitor, analyze, track & identify trends of absenteeism through attendance data.Maintain current & historical absence & vacation data for all Board employees.Produce statistical & analytical reports on absence occurrences for all employee groups.Provide appropriate support within the scope of the position.Daily absence reporting, notify individuals of their status per policy.Facilitate and lead attendance support meetings with employees and union representatives.Ensure absence reporting protocol is adhered to and collaborate with Principals, Managers, Supervisors.Complete year‑end process for absence records.Monitor and adjust data between Board's Absence Reporting system and current HRIS system.Produce reports on absenteeism as required.Work closely with other HR staff and schools to verify attendance support data.Support enhancements to systems & processes to improve data quality and operational efficiencies.Perform other duties as required.QualificationsPost‑secondary diploma/degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent.3–4 years’ experience in attendance support, disability management, labour relations or related fields (preferred).Experience in a school board environment (preferred).Experience working in a highly unionized setting.Proven interpersonal & communication skills.Proven computer skills and ability to learn recent software packages.Willingness to work in a team environment.Some travel required.Location & SalaryHuman Resources Department, Fr. Kennedy Catholic Education Centre, Hamilton, Ontario.Salary: P.A.S.S.
