Job Description

Qualifications
Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario required
Operating Room Nursing Certificate required
Minimum of 1-year current O.R. experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
Laser certification required
Canadian Perioperative Nursing Certification an asset
Current BCLS/HCP certification required
Demonstrated knowledge sensitivity and expertise in the care of seniors and their families




Gentle Persuasive Approach training preferred
Familiarity with HSM OR and/or basic computer competencies
Demonstrates ability to function effectively within a multi-disciplinary team
Demonstrates ability to function in emergency and highly stressful situations
Positive attendance and work record is essential
A resume regarding further education special courses and experience should accompany the application
