The successful candidate will be expected to manage multiple projects concurrently, while maintaining a high level of technical quality, communication, and client service.In addition to project delivery, the role includes business development, proposal support, and contributing to the growth of the commissioning practice.Key ResponsibilitiesLead commissioning projects through all phases of deliveryPrepare and maintain commissioning plans, issues logs, test procedures, and reportsConduct design and submittal reviews for commissioned systemsAttend construction sites to verify installation and system readinessWitness equipment start-up, TAB activities,
and functional performance testingReview sequences of operation and assist with troubleshooting and system diagnosticsCoordinate with Owners, consultants, contractors, TAB agencies, and operations staffPrepare clear, concise, and technically strong commissioning reports and documentationSupport integrated systems testing and life safety verification activitiesAssist with proposal preparation, fee development, and scope definitionIdentify and support business development opportunities and client relationshipsSupport the development of internal standards, procedures, and scalable commissioning toolsMentor junior commissioning staff and contribute to team growthParticipate in industry organizations, technical presentations, and professional development initiativesQualifications & ExperienceMinimum 5+years of building commissioning experienceMust maintain (or be actively pursuing) a commissioning designation through BCxA, ASHRAE, or an equivalent recognized organizationStrong understanding of HVAC, BAS, electrical, plumbing, and integrated building systemsExperience with functional performance testing and troubleshootingExperience with new construction and/or existing building commissioningExcellent written communication, reporting, and organizational skillsStrong presenter and public speakerStrong understanding of CSA/BCxA/LEED/ASHRAE commissioning guidelines and industry best practicesAbility to work independently while managing multiple projects and deadlinesComfortable attending active construction sites, mechanical rooms, rooftops,
