The Gerry & Nancy Pencer Brain Tumor Centre is looking for an empathetic Nurse Coordinator to oversee patient care and programming. In this permanent, full time position, you will coordinate multidisciplinary teams and contribute to the brain tumor treatment community. Your understanding of neuro-oncology will enhance patient experiences at UHN.
Key Responsibilities: • Provide educational resources to patients and families • Coordinate weekly multidisciplinary meetings • Develop caregiver support programming • Conduct the Patient & Family Advisory Committee • Enhance access to treatment programs
Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in nursing is mandatory • At least 2 years’ experience in neuro-oncology • Experience in palliative care is preferred • Strong communication and networking skills • Excellent leadership and organizational abilities
