In this role, you'll assist clients with personalized recovery plans and therapeutic classes. Your expertise in cognitive behavioral therapy, group interventions, and compassionate counselling will guide individuals from crisis toward recovery. You’ll collaborate with community agencies and maintain comprehensive case management to monitor client progress.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate various therapeutic classes for recovery • Conduct detailed assessments for program placement • Establish trusting relationships to support client goals • Document client interactions and progress accurately • Collaborate with external agencies for holistic care
Requirements: • Relevant degree/diploma in Social Services with Addiction focus • Actively pursuing CCAC certification • Experienced working with addiction-driven populations • Skilled in administering and teaching Narcan • Solid group facilitation and counselling capabilities
