Role: Senior Software Engineer (IBM SFG) Employment: Full Time Location: Toronto, ON Work Arrangement: Onsite Job Description We are seeking a Full Time Senior Software Engineer (IBM SFG) with strong hands-on experience in IBM Sterling File Gateway, Global Mailbox, Connect, Control Center, secure file transfer, and banking integrations.

The ideal candidate will design, develop, support, and maintain highly available Sterling environments Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and support IBM Sterling File Gateway, Global Mailbox, and Connect solutions Configure SFG routing rules, code lists, business processes, partner profiles, and workflows Support secure file exchanges for ACH, EFT, wire payments, treasury, and cash management Perform partner onboarding including certificates, encryption keys, protocols, and connectivity testing Troubleshoot file transfer failures, duplicate processing, routing issues, and connectivity problems Perform application maintenance, upgrades, patching, and workplace health checks Monitor platform performance and availability using IBM Control Center Implement encryption, decryption, and secure transmission standards Collaborate with business, operations,



infrastructure, security, and application teams Participate in production support, incident management, RCA, and recovery activities Maintain technical documentation, support procedures, and operational runbooks Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership Required Skills 4+ years of hands-on IBM Sterling experience IBM Sterling File Gateway, Global Mailbox, Connect, and Control Center SFG routing rules, code lists, business processes, and partner management SFTP, AS2, MQ, and Connect Strong SSL/TLS, PGP encryption, PKI, certificate management, and secure key management knowledge Experience with partner onboarding and secure file transmission Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills Experience working in Agile environments Preferred Skills Banking, ACH, EFT, wire payments, treasury, or cash management experience IBM Sterling Secure Proxy Azure or AWS cloud experience Dev
