The ArcGIS Online team is building the next generation of software that enables our users to apply intelligent online maps and apps to support the work of businesses, governments, and communities worldwide.Key Responsibilities
Design and build server-side RESTful web service to power developer and geospatial application access to the platformDesign, implement, and maintain components within the ArcGIS Online platform, which spans infrastructure across Azure cloudFind, analyze, and fix bugs and performance problemsBuild scalable, reusable, and maintainable componentsWork collaboratively with other teams to understand requirements and incorporate them into the feature service DesignRequirements
1+ years of industry experience coding in C#, C++, and .NET platformExperience with Azure cloud computing platforms and servicesSolid understanding of API design and object-oriented design patternsFundamental understanding of web services including RESTUnderstanding of spatial databases SQL and/or NoSQLFundamental knowledge of computational geometry data structures and algorithmsRelaxed in a distributed team environmentStrong knowledge of GITBachelor’s degree in math, computer science, physics, engineering,



or related fieldProblem-solving skills in C# and .NET platformWorking knowledge of a source control system, preferably GITFamiliarity with JSON and HTTP protocolExperience in GIS data structures and algorithms;
