Big Brothers Big Sisters of Yorkton and Area is a charitable nonprofit dedicated to enabling live-changing mentoring programs that ignite the power and potential of young people. The Mentoring Caseworker will provide guidance and support for the community and school-based mentoring programs in Yorkton and the area by establishing and maintaining robust internal and external relationships and ensuring sound and cutting-edge program practices.
Assist in planning and executing engaging fundraising and promotional activities that further mentoring.
Qualifications:
Must have a 2-year diploma in education, social or human sciences, child and youth development, or family studies.




Candidates must have a valid driver's license.
Demonstrate specific training in human growth and development, coupled with robust interpersonal skills such as communication skills, teamwork, leadership, empathy, cultural sensitivity and conflict resolution, and customer service, to name a few. Be a positive role model, fostering supportive interactions with youth, volunteers, and community members.
