As a member of the Corporate Legal team, you will spearhead the privacy program, developing policies and implementing privacy standards. Engage with senior executives and cross-functional teams to assess privacy incidents while providing legal risk advice. Your leadership will be essential in fostering a culture of privacy awareness throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities: - Establish and continuously refine privacy policies - Manage complex privacy assessments and incidents - Advise on technology-related privacy issues - Promote privacy awareness across teams and external partners - Communicate legal matters clearly to diverse audiences
Requirements: - JD with a minimum of 5 years in privacy law - In-depth understanding of privacy regulations - Positive standing with provincial law society - Relevant certifications like CIPP - Robust problem-solving and relationship-building skills
