This role invites you to lead the implementation of the Parks, Culture & Active Living Master Plan as Cochrane thrives as one of Alberta’s fastest-growing communities. Engage with a variety of stakeholders to cultivate solid partnerships and deliver innovative programs that celebrate and enhance community identity.
Your leadership will be instrumental in embedding arts and culture into municipal planning.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive the execution of the cultural master plan initiatives
Develop policies, programs, and partnerships for the arts
Build team-oriented relationships with diverse stakeholders
Administer community grants and funding agreements
Advocate for arts and heritage in community developments
Requirements:
Strong experience in strategic planning and policy formation
Understanding of municipal governance and arts sector dynamics
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Independent worker skilled at achieving consensus
Membership in a relevant professional organization is beneficial
