Join the SȽEȽEMW̱ Child Development Center as an On-Call Early Childhood Assistant (ECA) in the beautiful WSÁNEĆ territory near Victoria, B.C. You will help provide quality care to infants, toddlers, and children up to age 5.

In this position, you will support program planning and assist in delivering care according to licensing regulations. Collaborating with the Program Coordinator, you'll ensure that children's health, safety, and nutritional needs are met during engaging activities. Your role is crucial in fostering a positive and productive workplace for children.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in planning engaging activities for various age groups
• Ensure children's safety and health during all programming




• Operate under the guidance of the Program Coordinator
• Comply with Child Care Licensing Regulations
• Provide support across different age groups as needed

Requirements:
• Valid EC Assistant Certificate required
• At least one year of relevant experience needed
• Current Child First Aid and CPR certifications
• Must pass a Criminal Record Check
• BC Class 5 Driver’s License needed
• Preference for individuals with First Nations Ancestry
