As a part of the Cancer Registry department, this permanent role involves encoding complex cancer data, utilizing the AJCC TNM staging system for comprehensive surveillance and research. You'll play a key role in health care planning while ensuring data accuracy and adherence to established coding standards.

Key Responsibilities:
• Collect and code cancer data from medical records
• Utilize AJCC TNM staging for data categorization
• Encode pathology and cytology information accurately




• Analyze and maintain the Provincial Cancer Registry database
• Ensure compliance with coding guidelines in data entry

Requirements:
• Graduate of a recognized Health Information Management Program
• Experience with ICD-O and ICD classification systems
• Knowledge of SEER coding guidelines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
