As an Educational Assistant for elementary grades 1-6, you'll collaborate with teachers and engage students using effective communication strategies. You’ll implement individualized support strategies and assist with a range of needs while fostering strength in social, cognitive, and physical development.

Key Responsibilities:
• Support diverse student needs through tailored programming
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team effectively
• Implement positive behaviour and educational strategies




• Supervise students during indoor and outdoor activities
• Aid in adaptive technology use and modified learning

Requirements:
• Educational Assistant Certificate or Diploma required
• Experience in behavior management with complex needs
• Ability to perform lifting and physical transfers
• Completion of Criminal Reference and Vulnerable Sector Check
• Familiarity with e-mail and computer technology
