Enhance community health at Tong Louie Family YMCA in Surrey, BC as a Swim Instructor and Lifeguard. This part-time role combines teaching swimming skills with ensuring member safety in a fun environment.

You will report to the Aquatics Supervisor and be responsible for providing engaging swim lessons while maintaining high safety standards. This role involves relationship-building with members, contributing to the YMCA's philanthropic mission, and supporting various aquatic programs that cater to participants of all levels.

Key Responsibilities:
• Teach swim lessons while ensuring participant safety
• Foster a positive environment for members and visitors
• Drive participation in the Strong Kids Campaign
• Design and implement effective lesson plans
• Administer safety protocols in all areas

Requirements:
• Valid Standard First Aid certificate
• Current CPR Level C and AED certification
• National Lifeguard – Pool Option is essential
• Preferred experience as a Lifeguard or Instructor
• Criminal Reference Check mandatory prior to start
