What is the opportunity? Join RBC Wealth Management and support domestic and international tax compliance and analysis. As a Tax Administrator, you will be accountable for consistently preparing high quality tax returns, demonstrate attention to detail and ensure that key filing deadlines are met. Teamwork, collaboration, and developing inter-personal relationships are significant skills for success. Ideal candidates are proficient in Microsoft Excel, team-oriented, and currently pursuing post-secondary education in accounting or finance.
What will you do? Assist and prepare income tax returns (T3 trust returns, T1 personal returns, estate returns (T1D & Estate T3))
Conduct financial analysis related to domestic mutual funds and partnerships
Provide general administrative support, including organizing and tracking investment products tax data
Assist in preparing documentation, gathering and organizing relevant financial data, and responding to information requests to support tax audits
Support in researching and analyzing Canadian and International tax regulations to ensure compliance with all taxation regulations
Assist in the preparation and compliance of FATCA/CRS forms
Collaborate effectively as a team player in an engaging work environment
Ensure client expectations are met by respecting key deliverables.
Respond to calls and correspondence from external parties in a prompt and professional manner.
Use effective written, verbal and electronic communication to foster solid working relationships with other team members and to develop and maintain strong relationships with RBC partners.
What do you need to succeed? Must have: Working towards a Bachelor of Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration field
Robust proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to manipulate, organize, and retrieve data using formulas and logic functions
Strong personal skills and the ability to work effectively independently and within a team environment
Exceptional written/verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Highly organized with positive attention to detail and very high level of accuracy
Nice to have: Previous experience working with a Financial Institution or Accounting firms
Good working knowledge of taxation requirements for estate and trust products
Goal to pursue CPA designation

Bereturningto school after the work term end-date; or
If you are not returning to school (i.are graduating immediately after the work term), you must require the full work term as a mandatory component to graduate successfully
