Position: Healthy Aging Program Worker (2 positions)

Salary: $21.50- $29.75/HR – 35 Hours per Week
Location: Naughton, ON

POSITION SCOPE:
The Healthy Aging Programmeris responsible forplanning, coordinating, and delivering recreational, social, cultural, and wellness programming for participants attending the Seniors Day Centre. The role supports active and healthy aging by enhancing quality of life, reducing social isolation, and promoting participants’ physical, emotional, and cognitivewell-being.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Certificate or Diploma in Recreation, Gerontology, Recreation Therapy, Community Support, Social Services, or a related field.
Minimum one (1) year of experience planning, coordinating, or delivering recreational, wellness, social, or community‑based programming, preferably with seniors or other priority populations.
Experience ordemonstratedunderstanding of supporting seniors living with dementia, disabilities, mobility limitations, or chronic health conditions, ideally in a community or group‑based environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plan, organize, and deliver regular recreational, social, educational, and wellness programs for seniors.
Facilitate activities that promote physical activity, cognitive engagement, social connection, andoverall,well‑being.
Provide day‑to‑day support to participants during programs and Centre activities.
Foster a safe, inclusive, and respectful workplace that supports participant dignity and independence.
