The University of Toronto is seeking a qualified candidate for the Tutorial Leader position in the PHY245H5F course. This role requires a B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Physics, strong communication skills, and familiarity with the course content, including wave motion and vibrating systems. Your responsibilities will include leading tutorials and marking assignments, contributing to students' understanding of essential physics concepts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging lab demonstrations to students
• Lead weekly tutorials and facilitate discussions
• Assess and mark laboratory reports and quizzes
• Support invigilation of term tests and final exams
• Foster a welcoming and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Physics
• Robust knowledge of course materials
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience as a TA or in a similar role
• Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion
