Responsibilities Tasks Test and observe electrical and mechanical conditions of equipment
Troubleshoot and repair electric motors, transformers, switchgear, generators and other electro-mechanical equipment




Use machining tools to fabricate or recondition parts
Replace or recondition shafts, bearings, commutators and other components
Weld or braze components
Wind, assemble and install various types of coils
Perform in office servicing and repair
Work conditions and physical capabilities Physically demanding
Bending, crouching, kneeling
Own tools/equipment Safety equipment/gear
