We are currently seeking a for Fall 2026 (late August 2026 start), an Off-Campus Coordinator managing our High School Work Experience and Work Practicum programs combined with Physical Education and Wellness. The Position:
Full Time – Off Campus/ Workplace Coordinator, Physical Education, and Options Teacher
Qualifications:
Alberta Teaching Certificate (required)
Experience working with youth with autism spectrum disorder or similar social and learning challenges
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to be self-directed, flexible, highly motivated and to work effectively as part of multidisciplinary team
Knowledge of the Alberta curriculum for Off-Campus Education
Demonstrated Skills and Competencies:
Support the students by teaching, using and modeling strategies
Build and sustain relationships with employers and volunteer organisations
Source and coordinate work/volunteer placements to support students in their work experience and work practicum programs
Collaborate as part of a multi-disciplinary team to determine approaches that are most effective for students
Organize workplace visits to ensure compliance with Alberta Education regulations, and support student success in placements
Monitor, assess and document students’ progress
Teach and assess the PE and Wellness curriculum to Jr and Sr high students
Teach and Assess the Career Education and Financial Literacy to grade 7-9 students
