In this rewarding Cook position, reporting to the Director of Culinary Services, your responsibilities include meal preparation, food safety audits, and ensuring high-quality standards in a long-term care setting. Your contribution will positively impact the residents’ health and dining experience by complying with all dietary regulations and embracing teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare meals for residents and staff with attention to detail
• Conduct regular temperature audits in food storage areas
• Plan for themed and special occasion meals




• Follow health and safety legislation in food service
• Engage in staff training and quality improvement efforts

Requirements:
• Food Handler's Certificate; Red Seal preferred
• Experience in large quantity meal preparation
• Understanding of dietary regulations and special diets
• Physically able to lift and carry hot items
• Willing to provide a current Vulnerable Sector Check
