This position is eligible for relocation support up to $7,500, based on distance of relocation

Qualifications

Completion of an accredited MRI program.

Registered in good standing with College of Medical Radiation & Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO).

Completion of a Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) program.

Working knowledge of RHPA.

Working knowledge of standards of practice for related field.

Recent satisfactory performance appraisal.

Recent satisfactory attendance record.

No recent disciplinary events.

Responsibilities

Perform all required MRI examinations as prescribed by physicians in accordance with relevant protocols and procedures.

Maintain strong team environment amongst MRI technologist, MRI Technologist Assistants and Imaging Nursing Team.

Perform a large variety of MRI specialty procedures including cardiac imaging and breast biopsies.

Collaborate with the Pacemaker Clinic to perform MRI exams on patients with MRI conditional pacemakers.

Coordinate with the Anesthesia team to provide MRI access to young children and patients with special needs.

Perform MRI studies to assist radiation therapy planning.

Please note that this position is a midnight line; however, shift schedules may be subject to change to support operational requirements and departmental needs.
