Use your expertise to support Indigenous children as an Intake Coordinator at the Big Worries Solid Spirit program. This position involves assessing family needs and ensuring timely access to resources for those struggling with anxiety.
In this role, you will be the first point of contact for parents and caregivers. You will oversee eligibility assessments and coordinate with support coaches to facilitate a positive experience for families. Your contributions will directly impact program development while ensuring cultural respect and safety throughout the intake process.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct eligibility assessments via culturally respectful interviews
• Collaborate with coaches for effective family assignments
• Connect families with necessary resources and support
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Contribute to regular team meetings and outreach projects
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
• At least 3 years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of Indigenous wellness practices
• Effective communication skills with diverse populations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and remote working tools
