Engineering Technician II

We are seeking candidates for two positions on our Transportation and Development Services team:
Planning and Operations




Responsible for supporting transportation operations, traffic safety, and development review activities throughout the District. This includes investigating service requests and transportation concerns, collecting and analyzing traffic and collision data, conducting field reviews, and evaluating operational and safety issues. The position develops and recommends transportation improvements and prepares traffic control and transportation engineering designs using Civil 3D. This role supports the delivery of operational improvement programs including traffic calming, speed management, neighbourhood bikeways, street lighting, and the installation and modification of traffic control devices, such as signage, pavement markings, and
