The Adult Learning Institute (ALI) is recruiting an instructor with a passion for education to guide adults pursuing careers as teacher aides. Candidates need a Bachelor’s degree in Education and significant K-12 experience, ideally working with students with diverse needs. This course will prepare students on the roles of paraprofessionals, classroom management, and ethical considerations in education.
Key Responsibilities:
• Instruct adults seeking to become teacher aides
• Teach on classroom organization and management
• Foster communication strategies for diverse learners
• Introduce Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Encourage ethical and legal compliance in education
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field
• K-12 Teaching License or appropriate certification
• Over 3 years of relevant teaching experience
• Experience with adult education preferred
• Familiarity with behavior management techniques
