Engage students in aquatic leadership at the YRDSB Night School. This teaching position involves blended learning with pool instruction, in-class sessions, and online components.

This role is vital for the YRDSB's Aquatic Leadership Program, requiring expertise in Health and Physical Education. You will teach Grade 10 Healthy Living and aquatic skills, preparing students for Lifesaving Society certifications. The successful candidate will ensure an inclusive learning workplace while applying best practices in online and face-to-face teaching.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement curriculum for aquatic courses
• Deliver face-to-face and online instruction effectively
• Evaluate student performance using established criteria




• Maintain a safe pool and classroom environment
• Communicate regularly with students and parents/guardians

Requirements:
• Ontario Certified Teacher with Intermediate/Senior certifications
• Current Lifesaving Society qualifications
• Standard First Aid with CPR C certification
• Clear Police Vulnerable Sector Check
• Availability for scheduled class times
