In this engaging role, you will design and lead workshops focused on Indigenous cultural competency, driving forward the university's reconciliation goals. Collaborate closely with the Office of Indigenous Initiatives to create educational experiences that encourage meaningful peer interactions. Your expertise will be vital in developing training that reflects the Calls to Action from the Truth and Reconciliation Commission.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and facilitate educational workshops and seminars
• Engage participants with peer-to-peer discussions
• Draft educational materials and content
• Evaluate training effectiveness and suggest improvements
• Maintain relationships with community and internal stakeholders
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum four years in training program delivery
• In-depth knowledge of Indigenous issues in Canada
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
