Join the Department of English at the University of Toronto as an Assistant Professor specializing in Global Anglophone Literature. This full time position will be offered starting July 1, 2027, at the St. George campus.
The successful candidate must have a PhD in English or a related field, focusing on South Asian, Middle Eastern, Caribbean, and/or Black Diasporic Literature along with postcolonial theory. Candidates who possess knowledge of creative writing or environmental humanities will find their backgrounds especially relevant. Teaching excellence and a robust research agenda are paramount for this role.
