The Mental Health Emergency Services Unit (MHESU) is seeking dedicated nursing professionals to join their specialized team. This role involves conducting rapid mental health assessments, providing nursing care, and promoting recovery for patients in crisis. Ideal candidates will demonstrate competence in mental health and addiction services while working alongside other health professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct rapid mental health and risk assessments
• Provide full nursing care for crisis-intervention patients




• Collaborate with the Emergency Department team
• Support patients awaiting inpatient beds in Adult Mental Health
• Deliver patient and family-centered care

Requirements:
• Registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• 2 years of recent mental health nursing experience
• C.N.A Certificate in Psychiatric Nursing or willingness to obtain
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
