In this full time position, you'll guide clientele through the Provincial Victim Services Program, acting in accordance with the Victim’s Rights and Services Act. Your role requires strong client interaction skills to provide information and assistance, ensuring victims are heard and supported. You will facilitate access to counseling and help with court preparations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and manage sensitive client case files
• Inform clients of their rights and available services
• Collaborate with police and Crown Attorneys
• Develop and coordinate community resources
• Ensure precise documentation in case systems
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Three years of related experience in client support
• Understanding of legal procedures and victim rights
• Excellent communication abilities
• Reliable transportation for court attendance
