Take on an impactful role as an Itinerant Speech Language Pathologist within Student Services at various schools. This full-time role requires expertise in supporting students with speech and language challenges across diverse educational environments.
Effective from September 1, 2026, candidates must hold a Master’s degree in Speech/Language Pathology and possess a valid BC driver's license. The successful applicant will consult with school teams for assessments and program design, ensuring adherence to Ministry standards and qualified practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement assessment and intervention for diverse speech needs
• Collaborate with Speech and Language Teams to provide services
• Support AAC implementation for students with communication challenges
• Work with school-based teams to prioritize student needs
• Conduct training sessions for educators and parents
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Speech/Language Pathology required
• Eligibility for College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of BC
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Preferred experience with students with disabilities
• Strong report writing and consultation proficiency
