**Job Title: General Production Worker**
**Job Description**
Work in the White Zone where copper tubing is drawn into different sizes and lengths from the press.

Operate multiple machines used for tube processing and preparation.
**Responsibilities**
Operate machinery to point, cut, and prepare tubes for overhead crane transport.

Hook and secure bundles of tubing for crane movement.

Support material flow from the press through various stations.

Learn and rotate through several different machines in the area.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.

Follow all safety standards and lock-out/tag-out procedures.
**Essential Skills**
Ability to learn and operate industrial production equipment.

Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding workplace.

Reliable, team-oriented, and willing to cross-train.

Can handle 50lbs+ on a regular basis.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
6 months+ experience of Heavy Machine Operation or similar experience.

Experience in labour-intensive environments such as roofing, construction, or landscaping.

Strong communication, reading, and writing skills in English.

Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs as required.

Comfortable with standing, bending, and reaching for extended periods.

Ability to safely handle bundles of tubing and rigging for crane transport.

Capable of working around moving machinery and overhead cranes.

Good manual dexterity for operating machine controls.

Tolerance for a manufacturing workplace with noise, heat, and repetitive tasks.

**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of London, ON.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $22.41 - $22.41/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
