Responsibilities

Assures compliance with all regulatory and accreditation requirements

Provides education and competency documentation

Implements and maintains the laboratory Quality Improvement Program

Investigates, collects and analyzes data and communicates outcomes to improve patient care

Obtains accurate and timely compilation of laboratory data

Formats Quality Assurance (QA) Quality Improvement (QI) spreadsheets and maintains files and reports for laboratory administration.

Develops education offerings, coordinates education activities, monitors team member and compliance to mandatory training

Experience

Required – 4 years of Laboratory experience

Preferred

MediaLab experience

Education

Required

Bachelor's in Clinical Laboratory Science or Related Field

Certification

Required

State of Florida License for Clinical Laboratory Personnel in Clinical Laboratory Technologist (Clinical Chemistry, Immunohematology, Serology, Microbiology and Hematology) or Cytogenetics.
