WSP seeks an Intermediate Archaeologist to join our Heritage team in British Columbia. This role involves working on diverse archaeological projects including submerged cultural landscapes and coastal infrastructure. Professionals will contribute to environmental assessments and engage with multiple project teams for impactful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead terrestrial archaeological field programs and assessments
• Participate in marine and underwater archaeological investigations
• Plan marine archaeological surveys using advanced technologies
• Collaborate with senior archaeologists on field programs and reports
• Partner with Indigenous communities and multidisciplinary teams
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Archaeology or related field
• Intermediate archaeological consulting experience required
• Knowledge of BC Heritage Conservation Act and permitting
• Familiarity with marine geophysical data and technologies
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and willingness to travel
