SkeenaGold + Silver is seeking an experienced Blaster to enhance operations at the Eskay Creek Mine. You must possess a valid British Columbia Blasting Ticket and have 3-5 years of blasting experience. This dynamic role demands strict adherence to safety standards while executing blasts that support site integrity and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute blasting in compliance with safety regulations
• Load and prepare explosives per detailed designs
• Maintain accurate blast and explosive documentation
• Identify and mitigate blasting hazards
• Train and mentor Blaster Helpers on best practices
Requirements:
• Valid British Columbia Blasting Ticket required
• 3-5 years of relevant blasting experience
• Proficient understanding of ground conditions and impacts
• Willingness to work 15 days on, 13 days off
• Valid driver's license with a clean record
