Support and optimize routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP
Work with VLANs, STP, SD-WAN, VPN technologies, and cloud networking environments
Monitor network performance and identify opportunities to improve performance, security, redundancy, and resiliency
Develop network diagrams, technical documentation, and standard operating procedures
Mentor junior and intermediate engineers and provide technical leadership across the team
Partner directly with clients and internal teams to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions
Participate in an on-call rotation supporting business-critical client environments
What You Bring
We are looking for someone who combines strong hands-on technical ability with the confidence to lead projects, troubleshoot complex environments, and communicate effectively with clients.
Ideally, you bring:5+ years of progressive network engineering or infrastructure experience
Advanced hands‑on knowledge of routing and switching, including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, and STP
Experience with enterprise firewall and security technologies such as Fortinet, Cisco ASA/Firepower, Palo Alto, or Sophos
Experience with enterprise wireless technologies such as Cisco Meraki, Aruba, or Ubiquiti
Working knowledge of SD-WAN, VPN, and cloud networking
Exposure to Azure and/or AWS networking is anasset
Experience with carrier‑grade technologies such as MPLS‑SR, Cisco NCS, Cisco IOS‑XR, and Cisco Nexus is a strong asset
CCNP, CCIE, or comparable vendor certifications are strongly preferred
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
The ability to explain complex technical issues clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
A valid driver's licence and the ability to travel to client locations within Ontario when required
International experience is valued. Canadian work experience is not required, and equivalent experience gained outside Canada will receive equal consideration.
