Enhance child development with Sea to Sky Community Services as a Part-Time Program Support Worker. Support children requiring extra assistance in a collaborative, inclusive environment.

This temporary position at SSCS focuses on the implementation of Supported Child Development goals. You'll work with a team and families to promote the developmental needs of children. Ideal candidates have background qualifications in early childhood education or special needs education, along with solid interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities for children
• Conduct individual and group activities tailored to children's needs




• Assist with daily living tasks and implement behavior management strategies
• Support staff by providing resources and suggestions
• Participate in planning meetings and parent conferences

Requirements:
• Early Childhood Education certificate or equivalent training
• Minimum two years of experience with children
• Valid First Aid Certificate
• Post-basic courses in special needs education preferred
• Successful completion of background checks
