**Job Title: Robot Assembler Technician**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a highly skilled Robot Assembler Technician to join our dynamic team.
You will be responsible for assembling mechanical and electrical systems in accordance with engineering drawings, schematics, and established procedures.
Your role will involve ensuring the highest quality standards are met while working closely with various teams to resolve product and process-related issues.
**Responsibilities**
Assemble mechanical and electrical systems following engineering drawings, schematics, and established procedures.
Follow technical drawings, assembly instructions, and specifications to assemble, test, and troubleshoot parts and assemblies.
Perform quality inspections and verification checks to ensure products meet required standards and specifications.
Coordinate with the Supply Chain to ensure timely availability of parts and materials required for production.
Collaborate closely with the Engineering team to identify and resolve product and process-related issues.
Utilize computers and manufacturing systems to access documentation, record production data, and support daily operations.
Safely use a variety of mechanical and electrical tools, equipment, and instruments.
Read, interpret, and work from engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company standards and safety regulations.
Assist with the disassembly, packaging, and crating of products for shipment.
Work effectively in a manufacturing environment while adhering to quality, safety, and production requirements.
Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
**Essential Skills**
Experience in assembly and production.
Proficient in using ERP systems and Oracle.
Ability to work from engineering drawings and use a computer.
Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in using a variety of mechanical and electrical tools.
Forklift certification.
Knowledge of 5S and Kaizen methodologies.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
Technical training and/or diploma in a related field such as mechanical, robotics, mechatronics, or electronics.
Robotics experience.
Team player with a humble attitude.

**Work Environment**
Work in a clean shop environment with work benches, alongside a team of 200 people between office and production.

The workday starts at 8:30AM for a morning meeting, with the option to begin as early as 6:00AM.
Attire includes safety glasses, long sleeves, or at least 6-inch sleeves, and steel-toed shoes, which you must provide yourself.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract position based out of Burnaby, BC.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Burnaby,BC.
