Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead manufacturing operations across a clients pharmaceutical production facilities.
This role is responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing activities, ensuring safety, quality, productivity, compliance, and cost objectives are achieved while leading a team of 30+ production employees across multiple shifts.
The successful candidate will be a people-first leader who thrives in a fast-paced GMP manufacturing workplace and can effectively manage operational performance, employee engagement, process improvements, and cross-functional partnerships with Quality, Maintenance, and other production groups.
The Supervisor, Production Operations is responsible for all aspects of a designated manufacturing business unit, ensuring compliance with safety procedures, cGMP requirements, SOPs, and company policies while driving continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence.

Skills and Requirements
- Post-secondary education in Engineering, STEM, Science
- 3 years + of relevant experience
- Minimum 2 years of formal people leadership experience
- Experience leading at least 10+ direct reports
- Experience supervising manufacturing operators or production teams
- Background within a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment, including: Pharmaceutical

Cosmetics
Consumer Packaged Goods
Industrial Manufacturing
- Strong hands-on exposure to manufacturing equipment and production processes
- Proven examples of: Continuous improvement initiatives
Cost reduction initiatives
Process improvement projects
- Operational problem-solving
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work rotating shifts (Mornings - Nights) - Pharmaceutical manufacturing experience
- Lean Manufacturing or Operational Excellence project

- Led OPEX, Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement initiatives
- Quality Assurance or Quality Systems experience
- Budget exposure or financial acumen
