Join Bay Ferries Limited as a full-time 4th Class Marine Engineer, specializing in machinery maintenance and operations. This role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and productive vessel operations in Saint John, NB, and Digby, NS.

As a critical member of the team, you will report to the Engineer of the Watch while ensuring the safe and effective performance of our vessels. This position demands your expertise in machinery inspections, pollution adherence, and team coordination. You will maintain essential documentation and play a part in fostering a safety-first culture.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform maintenance and inspections on machinery as directed
• Conduct watches in the Engine Control Room or Engine Room
• Update company maintenance systems and logbooks




• Adhere to pollution regulations and safety protocols
• Supervise Oilers and delegate tasks as needed

Requirements:
• Valid Certificate of Competency as a 4th Class Engineer
• Valid Seafarers Medical Certificate
• Strong knowledge of operations and SMS documentation
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Proven safety operations track record
